Michael Fiorentino
Over the past few years, Fiorentino has engaged in many discussions with mentors and colleagues that explored new ideas. However, he has always been frustrated by the limitations of presenting big ideas to financiers within the confines of a 30-second elevator pitch. To address this issue and to share some of these lively and curious conversations, he created the "Media Renaissance" series, which discusses big ideas of the past and future.
The idea for "Media Renaissance" stems from the comparison of innovations that took some of humanity's civilizations out of the dark ages and allowed for new forms of creative expression, commerce, and communication to emerge. Fiorentino looks at any civilization that had a similar pattern of evolution regardless of geographic position and time period, aiming to explore how cross-pollination of these innovations can lead to a new societal paradigm.
